Stacey Messner is a (CPHR) Chartered Professional in Human Resources in Alberta and operates a human resources consulting practice for small and medium sized businesses in the North Peace Region.   She brings over 18 years of experience in Human Resources with specialties in policy and procedure development, recruitment, employee and labour relations, training, compensation and benefits.

Stacey earned her Human Resource Management designation from the University of Lethbridge, and honed her skills while working in a variety of industries, including agriculture, meat processing, trades contracting, and the oil sands.  Stacey married into a Peace Country family and has come to enjoy the beauty and various activities the region has to offer.

Stacey focuses her consulting services in restoring workplaces by conducting assessments, mentoring leadership and staff performing human resource roles, facilitating and customizing training, conflict resolution strategies, developing HR Best Practices, HR policy and procedure development, and HR Documentation.

Why Stacey Messner is getting involved in this initiative:

I can’t imagine how overwhelmed organizations are feeling during the current COVID-19 pandemic and economic crash.  Some businesses are super busy while others are downsizing or contemplating their future state.   Many small and medium sized organizations may not have a dedicated HR position in their workplaces. The HR function indirectly becomes the responsibility of a management position and they do the best that they can, when they can, to do HR. That is where I come in.  To listen to the HR plan, strategy, situation and provide advice and support of how to handle it from an experienced, trained, and certified HR point of view.
